Summer 2004 - Conversation with Fred Donaldson about intervening with Play
Daniel:  We talk about Original Play and its applications such as when you get attacked and how you respond in play to that attack.  Can we talk a little bit about intervening with play when someone else is getting attacked? ....

Fall 2004 - Family Violence Prevention

Original Play has been a part of the Family Violence Prevention Program, a shelter for battered women and their children, in Wheeling, West Virginia for the past eight years. Daniel Caron volunteers and plays with the children who are utilizing the program’s services.

Winter 2004 - Monty Roberts International Learning Center
In July 2003, Fred Donaldson and Daniel Caron were invited by instructor, Koelle Simpson to visit the Monty Roberts International Learning Center at Flag Is Up Farm in Solvang, California.  At the Center Fred and Daniel shared an Original Play workshop with the staff and were then taken through a Join Up session led by both Koelle and Monty.  Their visit closed with a wonderful dinner at the Roberts' home filled with good food and great conversation.  Below is a short conversation with instructor Koelle Simpson about her impressions of the Original Play workshop and several photographs of the visit with our new friends at Flag Is Up Farm.
